Oh ya, Chocolate Wedding!

These cupcakes are my absolute favorite!  I cannot resist the combination of chocolate cake and white wedding cake icing.  I devoured this cupcake right after I took the picture.

Vanilla Mint and Chocolate Mint

I made these cupcakes for a kids' Christmas party tomorrow.  I also made some festive White Wedding Cake cupcakes but you've already seen enough of those so I won't post the pics.

Cupcake Displays

My mom recently forwarded me an email about how to make your own cupcake stands.  The idea was super cute and so easy.  After a trip to the craft store, I had my supplies to make two displays.  I really like these displays because you can change out the items in the cubes to match your cupcakes or party theme.

Birthday Cupcakes

Tomorrow is our friends' son's fourth birthday.  I made these cupcakes today so he can celebrate with his friends tomorrow at school.  They are White Wedding Cake (didn't I say they were the most requested?) colored blue, yellow and green.  Happy Birthday, G!

Double Chocolate

If you love chocolate like I do, you'll love these double chocolate cupcakes.  They are so rich but oh so delicious!

Promotion Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes today to help a friend celebrate his promotion to assistant fire chief (huge congrats, T!).  They are White Wedding Cake with red sprinkles.

Caramel Cappuccino and Caramel Mocha Cappuccino

I have a group of friends that are my testers.  Sometimes my guinea pigs make requests for new cupcakes.  This is how my Caramel Cappuccino and Caramel Mocha Cappuccino cupcakes came about.  They wanted a chocolate cake, filled with caramel and topped with a cappuccino icing.  I experimented a bit with the icing and came up with something really delicious.  I made the cupcakes as requested but it just seemed off.  My friends determined that it was the caramel.  I agreed, it made the cupcake too wet.  The second batch, without the caramel, was perfect.  I got to thinking, "This cappuccino icing on a chocolate cupcake tastes great.  I bet it would taste really good on White Wedding Cake."  So off I went to run a new experiment.  I gotta say, that flavor combination was pretty dang good.  I've also put the cappuccino icing on a vanilla cupcakes.  Although very tasty, I prefer it on the White Wedding Cake.  I love coffee so I really love making Caramel Cappuccino and Caramel Mocha Cappuccino cupcakes.  I usually top these with a dusting of cocoa powder.

Pretty in Pink

Our friends recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl.  I made these cupcakes today to help celebrate her arrival.  They are White Wedding Cake.  I colored the frosting pink and shaved white chocolate on top.

Chocolate Mint

I made these for a friend's birthday.  The cake is chocolate mint and the icing is mint buttercream.  I topped them with shaved dark chocolate.  Yum!

This is what started it all...

These are the cupcakes I made for an Alice in Wonderland themed quinceanera.  They came out so cute and looked even cuter placed in tiny bowls, on top of tiny plates with tiny forks.  They were part of the table decorations and all 250 were eaten right away.
